A London-born rapper Dave’s performance at Tuesday’s BRITs was moving. He performed his single ‘Black’. One of the journalists present found the lyrics hard-hitting and provocative and concluded the performance to be “the most important performance in the history of the Brits”.
The 21-year-old rap artist bagged the coveted Album of the Year award for his debut release Psychodrama, a soundtrack revolving around his experiences of being raised in South London. Dave’s real name is David Orobosa Omoregie though he is commonly called as Santan Dave.

In his interviews, Dave has mentioned that he loves film soundtracks and particularly admires cinematic scoring legend Hans Zimmer. His favorite song is Hans Zimmer’s Like a ‘Dog Chasing Cars’ from the Dark Knight.
The score for the Dark Knight Rises is one of his favorites. He is also in love with the soundtracks of films like Man Of Steel, Inception, Interstellar, Braveheart, Transformers and Schindler’s List.
