A few decades before, American beauty pageants had not done justice with the women belonging to different races. But the governing authority has changed their rules and protocols which resulted in all the beauty contest crowns going to black women.
Cheslie Kryst was announced as 2019 Miss USA on Thursday. Earlier, Miss Teen USA was captured by Kaliegh Garris and Miss America went to Nia Franklin. They made a historic trio which proved wrong all the myths about people of different races.
28 years old, Cheslie Kryst who won Miss USA crown, has law and MBA degrees from Wake Forest. She is working for the welfare of prisoners. She deals with the prisoners which can transform themselves into good persons.
Miss Teen USA was grabbed by Kaliegh Garris on last Sunday. She is 18 years old confident girl who always gives credit of her success to her curly natural hair. In an interview, she said, “I feel more confident with my curly natural hair and the persons who told me to style my hair straight, have got my answer.”
Before Nia Franklin became Miss America, she worked for an NGO. She is still in touch with the NGO. Nia is also an opera singer which helped her to impress the judges in the final round.
