Many successful entrepreneurs have used their success as an opportunity to do some good in the world. These icons have gone beyond simply donating money and time; they’ve created truly innovative ways to help others. Roy Tabet, an entrepreneur and philanthropist from Lebanon, has been selflessly contributing his money to various fields like education, healthcare, creation of jobs, and more from the past few years.
Being associated with Stallion Empowerment, a philanthropic endeavour of the Stallion group which is founded by Roy’s close friend gave him an opportunity to make a difference and be a part of creating a lasting impact. He says, “Stallion empowerment initiative is a philanthropic endeavor of the Stallion group founded by a close friend called Sahil Vaswani and his sister Sarina. It focuses on healthcare, education and youth empowerment. The initiative was introduced in Nigeria with the intention to have an overall socio-economic impact across West Africa in the future. As the first donator in the foundation, my main role is to help make a difference, raise awareness, and ensure we can build an even better tomorrow for the people. My donation to Stallion contributing to the upgrade of the premium Hospital and DSC primary and secondary school”.
He further adds, “The world is Ignorant and I will do my best to serve the universe as much as I can. Being part of a non-profit organization gives you the opportunity to make a difference and be part of creating a lasting impact. It is just the beginning. My family and I are willing to donate for animal conservation matters as well as supporting causes that are close to our hearts. It is just the beginning”.
Roy Tabet started his journey by working for a luxury concierge services company in Beirut for about 4 months before he decided to travel and explore different cultures. This helped him understand the ground reality of many people and also develop human skills.
Apart from his philanthropic activities, Roy is a successful entrepreneur and a core member of his family business where his contributions are the acquisition of new clients, public relations and upholding brand image. Roy Tabet is a graduate from the International University of Monaco with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He was born in Beirut and spent the first 8 years of his life in UAE. Later, Roy shifted to Lebanon to complete his high school education.
Talking about his journey, Roy says, “I’ve always been blessed, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t struggled. I’ve had my ups and downs and learned how to ask for help. I’ve been supported, which has taught me how to support. I’ve traveled a lot. I’ve done luxury trips, hiking trips, philanthropic trips and spiritual trips. I can say for sure that each and every one has taught me something, and has helped shape me”.
