Mattel has said that the animation series will have an autistic character named Bruno, the Break Car, will join the gang. He stands out from the other engines because he has ladders and a bright red lantern that shows his emotional state. He is a joyful character and likes word games. The best days for Bruno are when he shares activities with his friends.
Bruno is the first character with a disability that Mattel, together with the Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN), has developed so that all of the children in the world feel represented.
“Although Bruno carefully represents the features and preferences of some autistic persons, an animated character could never encompass the real life experience of every autistic person”, clarified the company.
This is the first time that an autistic character is included in an animation.
“Through hard work, dedication and care, Bruno opens the door to a global audience in a way that Thomas & Friends never had before”, states Mattel through a press release.

The creative aspect of the means of communication, especially in film, is one of the most promising variants for the new careers.
Currently there are many careers and universities that offer programs for this, in different modalities, for different budgets and much more accessible than the large institutions that have taught film for generations.
Guillermo del Toro is a great reference in the national and international arena due to his use of animation in his films. His most recent, Pinocchio, will give a lot to talk about and will have many nominations for the gold statuette that all filmmakers and actors covet.
Guillermo del Toro, Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu and Alfonso Cuarón are three Mexicans and friends who have changed the path of Mexican films as we knew it. “The Three Amigos” – as they are known in Hollywood.
It is also known that Olmo Cuarón will give something to talk about in some years from now since he is following his father’s steps in the art of animation.
