Apple is going all out to better its plummeting sales for the latest iPhone XR. In a whole new strategy, the iOS phone manufacturer is slashing down the prices for this new device to amp up the sales.
Apple on Tuesday opted for this unprecedented step that marks the latest iPhone XR at a relatively low price of $449. This move comes after XR launched in the market about 5 weeks ago. The price tag it started with was actually cheapest as compared to other models by Apple and cheaper by a mark of $250 when compared to the next low-priced model by the company.
Apple also dedicated an online portal for the veterans and military that includes the sales at 10 percent discount for iPads and iPhones. This portal will work in a manner similar to that of Apple’s corporate and student portals.
Apple has currently assigned members from its marketing department to devote full time for the boosting of sales. This introduction of discounted price comes after Apple experienced weeks of slashing sales. The iPhone XR by Apple boasts of edge-to-edge display with LCD Pixels and massive upgrades from the models iPhone 6S or the ones released earlier.
