LONDON – Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle welcomed a baby boy this morning. The royal baby was born at 5:26 AM and weighed 7lbs & 3oz. The mother and baby both are in perfectly healthy condition. Harry and Meghan announced on their Instagram, “Its a Boy”.
The baby is Queen Elizabeth ll’s eighth great-grandchild and he is seventh in line for British Throne. According to a statement from the royal family, “The Duchess and Baby both are healthy and the couple is thankful to the public for their support during this special time in their life.”
An Excited Harry told press, “I am very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby early this morning. The Mother and the baby are both doing well. It will remain the most amazing experience in my life I could ever imagine. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but we are absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all for the lovely support.” When the media asked Harry about the name of the baby, he said, “We are still thinking about names.”
Basically, Meghan Markle belongs to California, USA and she is waiting to get her British citizenship. So the baby is half American and Half British. One more thing which is bringing attention to the newly born baby is that Meghan’s father is American and her mother is African American, hence the baby could be the first multiracial member of the royal family.
