Canada has welcomed the Vaping industry as a strategy to end smoking across the nation. The country is making nicotine vaping devices accessible to smokers. Implementing vaping was not an easy decision for the country because it was an unusual public health decision for lawmakers.
The Canadian government is looking forward to stopping smoking among adults because it is witnessing many smoking-related diseases in patients.
Vaping law was implemented in Canada in May 2018 to put fewer restrictions on vaping devices. The nation has spent more than a year on this and now vaping devices are being sold everywhere. The country lifted the ban over vaping as an approach that is based on hypothesis which is a transition of smokers to vaping. When the Federal health officials drafted the law for vaping, they were not much sure that it will reduce smokers in the nation.
But vaping is working well in the country. It is reducing smoking habits in people rapidly. Several studies have proven that vaping is less harmful than smoking. It reduces or sometimes eliminates the chances of heart diseases.
Dr. Charlotta Pisigner is a leading researcher at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. He said that there are still a majority of smokers in the country who have not switched to vaping yet. The smokers are not doing what government wants from them. Though vaping is regulated under the law in Canada, the government prevents teens from vaping through advertisements and age restriction. There are many websites that are offering vaping products to adults so that they can eliminate smoking habits and chances of smoking diseases.
