With the use of carboy caps, it is also possible to attach a racking cane directly through the center of the carboy cap. And one can pump their homebrew easily for racking into another container by pressuring with CO2 tank. Orange carboy caps are used for covering 3, 5, and 6-gallon glass or plastic carboys whereas blue carboy caps are suitable for 6.5-gallon glass carboys.
