Australia – According to World Health Organization’s guidelines, if a Pandemic situation arises such as Novel Corona-virus, complete lockdown is necessary, and for that the Schools need to shut. Federal government has recently stated that schools can or can not remain open depending upon their facility. Chief Medical Officer Professor Brendan Murphy voiced this opinion.
The pro-activeness of some states has been seen. A lot of states have adopted a total study-from-home system which seems to be the need of the hour. Prof. MacIntyre stated that it is utmost important right now to change this growth curve. Taking into note the available information about coronavirus, the faster we flatten it, the better we can contain it.

Data suggests that 20 percent of country’s population is in the age group of school going children. This means that keeping the schools open means risking huge numbers to infection each day.
