As per the available reports, Chinese marriage registry officials have admitted that the divorce rate has increased in the country since the start of the process of home quarantine and isolation in China. Lu Shijun, the manager of a marriage registry in Dazhou in Sichuan said, “The divorce rate has soared compared to before”. “Young people are spending a lot of time at home. They tend to get into heated arguments because of something petty and rush into getting a divorce,” he added.
