Fornite games developer, Epic Games has released details about the champion series that is going to begin on August 17th. The champion series of the Trios event will be played each weekend for five weeks. The season finals will start on September 20th. $10 million worth of prizes would be rewarded across all regions.
To know about the basic understanding of how this tournament will work, one can watch the world cup qualifications. Competitors get a three-hour window to compete in up to 10 games. But during the world cup, no player was able to play in all 10 games.
As the series will end, only 32 teams will be able to compete in their region’s grand finals. Fortnite champion series schedule for the weekly event will start from August 17th and will end on September 15th. From September 20,champion series for season finals will start and will run-up to September 22. Fortnite betting market will be heating up throughout the series as this game is followed by all major countries in the world.
Epic Games has detailed, the schedule is the same for all regions except actual time that varies for regions. For Heat 3 and Heat 4 group stage, only Europe, North America East, North America West, and Brazil will be eligible.
Rules for 2019 Fortnite series are similar to the Fortnite world cup qualifications. The participants will get a three-hour window in the game and they need to be in the champion league to complete it. Each week, three rounds will be played. First two round will take place on the same day.
