It’s 2021 (finally). For many, this means breathing a sigh of relief and hoping for the swift eradication of COVID-19. In 2020, the coronavirus pandemic took what was meant to be an amazing (or at least a banal) year, particularly for a variety of business sectors, and completely turned it on its head. The online space quickly became a refuge for businesses, and social media was no longer a “nice to have” but a “must have.”
At the top of 2020, Instagram boasted over 1 billion users and was already a platform that was sought after for businesses, influencers, entertainers, and even “regular” people to grow their bands, reach, and revenue. Colton Bollinger, the founder of Jumper Media, a global leader in Instagram growth, had started the year with big plans to continue scaling across the globe– it already had over 1,500 active customers. The year prior, in 2019, was a tough one as Instagram growth companies had to rapidly pivot due to algorithm changes. If they didn’t, it would have meant fading into obscurity. The algorithm change prevented any bot automation or algorithms that were modeled after human behavior to build targeted followings for customers. To prevent the company’s disappearance when this change took place, Bollinger took to the Philippines, where he brought on a massive new team to organically grow accounts.
Due to the impacts of the pandemic, Bollinger found that the companies signing up for service were doing so out of a much greater need, versus a want. Reaching their ideal customers through the targeted growth services provided by Jumper, which includes targeting specific aligned hashtags and accounts, not just supported these businesses’ growth but their survival.
Over the last year, with businesses (and life, for that matter) becoming digitized across the board, the social media landscape has become that much more competitive.
For Bollinger and Jumper Media, however, targeted engagement and his services are likely to continue growing as they are sustainable, organic, and designed to support businesses not just in building up their numbers, but doing so in such a way that will support their bottom lines.
2021 is invariably going to be a year of recovery followed by growth for a number of businesses. Colton Bollinger and Jumper Media will continue to be poised to lead these businesses to success via their innovative and longlasting approaches to Instagram growth.
