Infant ibuprofen easily available at stores in the valley is being recalled. People are worried that the dosage can be too high for children and could make their kids sick. As per experts, it is harmful to the kidneys.
The 9 stores in the Fargo-Moorhead location, including Family Dollar, Walmart, and CVS Pharmacy once had the recalled medication. The recall includes 3 brands Family Wellness, CVS Health, and Equate.
On 13th Ave, Family Dollar took the medication off their shelves. While CVS still has the brand in stock, whereas Walmart says they’re not selling the medication.
According to the doctors, if the recalled ibuprofen is consumed, it may affect kids causing nausea, upper abdominal and gastrointestinal pain, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, ringing in the ears or kidney related problems. On this, a pharmaceutical company, Tris Pharma, tells that yet there hasn’t been any case of kids getting sick.
