This feature is under updation for Android and iOS.
In this feature, the Instagram users can now record their messages by holding down the microphone button. And on releasing the button, the message will be sent automatically. If you don’t want to send it or want to record again, you can simply take your finger to the trash icon and the message will be deleted.
Instagram has made a little delay in the game of using voice messages in DMs. Facebook, which is its parent company already has enabled the voice messaging feature in ‘Facebook Messenger’since years. These days the voice messages have become the most opted method of communication available on several messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and WeChat.
