On Monday morning of 15th July, Pennsylvania has entered into the world of Internet-based casino games. Pennsylvania has become the fourth state in America, which is offering legal online casino gambling. Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) launched the first public test runs with betting application only for age 21 and over. People of the state can play casino-style games from computers, laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
Online poker has not yet added to the gaming network. It would be available later this summer. People can play poker and free spins on online websites like Simba88. Several online gambling providers are going to take advantage of the move, and many more are set to join later in the summer. PGCB executive director Kevin O’Toole said that launch of both casino games and online sports betting has come with 2019 football season which is about to start next month.
For the online game lovers, there is a variety of things full of convenience. Especially for younger people, gambling platform in the state would be a little closer to their experiences. Online gaming industry says that most online gaming plays are from new users who do not visit the casinos. There would be massive traffic on gaming websites from Pennsylvania state. Though it would leave a marginal effect on the state’s budget, as the amount of money raised from land-based slots or table games is difficult to touch as a newcomer.
