Many people want to know if tarot reading is a scam or a real art. In some instances it can be a scam. It is time to get away if the person is telling you that you need some hexed removed, inviting you to countless sessions, or charging you hundreds of dollars. On the other hand, it can be very productive and beneficial if it is laid out as a motivational game or a life coaching session.
The important aspect to realize about the tarot is that it tells a story. Our story is what makes us who we are. Let’s say a tarot reader says something such as “You have suffered greatly in the past, but your sense of compassion has not diminished even when you have questioned whether you should change or not, but in every journey you have learned a valuable lesson.” Then for your present she says “currently you are in a situation where you know you can be doing better and that settling would be a bad idea. Listen to your heart and don’t settle. Pursue your dreams now.” And finally, for the future card, she says “you may encounter a few obstacles, but they are a test for your endurance and to see if you truly want your dreams to become a reality. Don’t fail this test, continue with your career or goal until you see it accomplished and when you pass this test, you will reap the benefits of your victory.” At this point this motivational reading may encourage you to go on and chase after your dreams and desires. Such reading is positive and productive.
On the other hand, if the reader tells you, “I see that you were cursed for rejecting someone who wanted to be with you, that’s why your present plans don’t seem to be able to take place, but we can change that so you can succeed. We must cleanse you immediately. Bring me the ingredients or if you play me in full, we can perform the cleanse as soon as possible. It’s normally $1,500 but I like you and want to see you well. Bring the money today and is only $900.” This is where you know exploitation is at its best or worst if this what you prefer to call it.
