Ashwin Seegobin, popular in the music world with his brand name, ‘Smash’, has made highlights for his exceptional talents in the music world. He is known for his mixing and music production skills. Based in England, the mix engineer & producer Ashwin Seegobin produces & mixes music in his studio.
And he also teaches music production & audio engineering at the Academy of Contemporary Music. He enjoys teaching music skills to music enthusiasts as he wants to contribute to the music industry as a tutor.
He was born to a Trinidadian mother and a Mauritian father. Ashwin Seegobin started his music journey as a DJ-ing at a young age. After graduating with a BA in animation, the music producer started pursuing music production seriously in his mid-twenties.
He completed his training in the Caribbean and he started working as a studio assistant after which he began his career as a producer & audio engineer. Ashwin Seegobin has signed a management deal with 1 2 One Entertainment and he idolizes Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, and producer Quincy.
Before started teaching music to followers, Ashwin Seegobin aka Smash wasn’t sure about his ability to teach music. Since he is not formally trained in music, he didn’t believe he could teach. But when he started doing so, he began receiving a strong response. And now he is successfully continuing his music teaching at the top audio school ACM.
As an independent artist, Ashwin Seegobin has collaborated with many reputed producers and he has learned a lot from them. Now, he is sharing all his music production & mixing experience with his students at ACM. He teaches all day without getting bored because he has a zeal to contribute to the music industry by teaching creative music skills to music lovers.
