Considering the intense competition across all business niches on the internet, the idea of organic marketing now comes off as slow and unrealistic to most online entrepreneurs. An organic marketing strategy drives traffic to a business naturally over time, rather than opting for paid advertising or sponsored posts. If you don’t directly pay for the attention coming to your business through a strategy, you’re marketing organically.
The marketing process forms part of the major foundation of any business. These days, most founders can’t imagine running a business without ads, giveaways, and sponsored banners on top sites. While these strategies tend to draw attention very quickly to a business, not everyone can afford them or maintain the pace in the long run.
Some businesspersons are also spending useful funds on shady strategies such as fake followers, comment bots, clickbait, and so on. Essentially, these tacky methods would leave you with a large, porous following, no real results, and zero sales/contracts.
Slow and steady builds the value
This is 2021, and it’s still entirely possible to market your business organically without paying a dime. Organic marketing is heavily centered on quality content, consistent interaction with your growing viewer base, and lots of patience. It’s never a magical process, even with the paid options.
At the core level, circulating great content on social media to promote your business would involve writing superior articles, coming up with engaging designs, posting quality videos, making enlightening podcasts, and updating your social media accounts regularly. As your customer/client base grows, you’d understand that long-lasting success requires a lot more than a large following on social media.
According to American entrepreneur, digital marketer, and business coach, Junior Anthony, every successful online brand thrives on trust – from both sides of the transactional bridge.
“Every big brand has secured some type of trust from their customers,” Anthony explains. “You cannot expect to expand or win hearts if your brand doesn’t thrive on trust. Everyone wants Loyal customers, customers that wouldn’t think twice to decline a competitor’s product (even if it was 99% cheaper); but how do you get these loyal customers? You first need to start by building a brand that your customers know, like, and trust.”
Anthony is the founder and CEO of Live Sotori, a premium online business community focused on helping ordinary people searching for online income or financial freedom to become entrepreneurs and excel in business.
Anthony started as a coach teaching people online for free. Eventually, he built his own community and was able to scale it up to a seven-figure brand in less than nine months. A huge chunk of his marketing strategy was largely organic and the community learned to sail by trusting its own oars. However, they hadn’t started that way and while Anthony has no regrets, he admits that he would do things differently in another life.
“Paid traffic is amazing,” Anthony affirms. “It’s almost like a plug-in-and-play instant lead generator. However, I must say that if I had to rebuild my empire from scratch, I would start with organic. It’s the best way to start generating revenue without a huge upfront cost.”
Going the organic route might be scary and could seem like it would take donkey years to record significant growth. However, subliminal marketing strategies will always be the superior option.
“Also, conversions are normally higher than that of ads,” Anthony explains. “If you start with $0 and make even one conversion you already have a positive ROI whereas, with ads, you have to spend first and you receive later. The organic method is the only way to guarantee an ROI.”
Staying focused is key
Anthony describes his online family as a realistic space devoid of sugar-coating and profit-driven sweet talks. Business is not an easy process and there will be challenges. However, if you are committed to success, as Anthony says, “You could eat those challenges for breakfast every day.”
Live Sotori has students from all around the world coming together in a virtual space to learn, grow, and network with other people who can aid their transition into entrepreneurial freedom.
“We’ve created a trusting environment that allows all my students to grow from one another,” Anthony says. “We are always there to help and support each other’s progress. Having this type of environment encourages our success, and getting results now becomes a simple, even trivial, task.”
His most valuable philosophy for success is simple – listen to your teachers and do what they say. If you trust someone enough to pay a fee and sit in classes to be coached, you should trust them enough to listen to what they say.
“For people to get to where they want to be, they have to ask a lot of questions,” Anthony explains. “I answer them but I also stick to an orthodox approach. I tell people. ‘Hey, I know you have a lot of questions, but just listen to what I say and do this. If you trust me, trust that I know the process and I’m only here to help you.’ The reason why a lot of people are not growing at the pace they want is a lack of focus. If you’re not focused on a proper learning curve and you keep drifting all over the place, it’s going to be twice as hard to hit your targets.”
As a way to give back to society, Anthony offers his remarkable value every week to people who are not able to afford the cost.
“I regularly host a free class every week for those that cannot afford to join my program because I believe if I can change their mind I can change their bank account.”
