Susie Rabaca, a single mother of 3 children was pregnant with twins and was suffering from the deadly, leukemia. She needed a bone marrow transplant to treat her disease. But this, Thursday, she gave birth to two twins, named Ryan and Rainey, which opened a new ray of hope in her life.
Rebecca said adores her babies as “Miracle babies”. She was in a dilemma whether to keep these babies or abort them, but she chose the 2nd option and kept the pregnancy.As she was suffering from acute myeloid leukemia, her doctors informed her that she needs a bone marrow transplant that also had to be a perfect match.
After searching among 30 million donors, registered in the “Be The Match registry”, no perfect match was found. But, as her tragic story goes viral, thousands of more registered donors came to help her and finally the good news came.Rebecca got a call that she had got a donor with 10 out of 10 matches. Though her donor is a mystery, she is highly grateful to her.
But, this does not guarantee a happy ending to her story. Before New Year, she will leave Ryan and Rainey with their grandmother, as she has to undergo a month of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, after which she will be facing the bone marrow transplant.
