A global survey has highlighted that the number of divorce cases across the globe has been rising continuously and it has simply lead a jump in the demand for family lawyers. As per the available results, the divorce rate stood at 2.2 per 1,000 married couples in 1978 and it rose to 5.5 per 1,000 married couples in the year 2008. And the most common reason for this scenario is the changing lifestyle and the changing priorities of people.

The average divorce rate in different regions of the world stands at 4.08 for every 1,000 married people. The survey results have highlighted that countries with a higher level of economic development and highly educated people are experiencing a hike in the number of divorce cases.
