Russian cosmonauts spacewalk to a strange “Mystery Hole” aboard Soyuz Spacecraft

A couple of Russian spacewalkers crawled into a mysterious strange hole inside a Soyuz spacecraft anchored at International Space Station. Using knives and large scissors, the Cosmonauts walked into the hole to get some material out for investigation of its origin. A Moscow official is suspecting an obstruction could have been done deliberately to create such a thing. A confirmation is first needed regarding where the mystery hole actually originated, on Earth or in space. The cavity so formed is of 2 mm diameter, and caused the air to leak. This hole has come up after the last voyage was complete and the spacecraft landed safely on Earth.

Oled Kononenko and Sergei Prokopyevsk were the two who bothered to get a sample out of the hole. While Russian Roscosmos Chief mentions that it was just a manufacturing error and nothing else to worry about. But the Russian media has reported a chance of deliberate interference of US astronauts in creating such a mischief to bring back their sick US mate back to home.

The final report completely relies upon the investigation of the samples that will dig the deep roots out. The cosmonauts have filmed a video of the entire procedure before patching with a new insulation over the damaged area.
