Her early life
Jaiya was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she later attended Wright University. She had an early passion for empowering people through innovative solutions. She gave her service to society by serving as a member of the firefighting team.
She embarked on her entrepreneurial pursuits as a young woman, where she opened a new-age bookstore, and in her twenties, she started one of the first oxygen bars in the United States. But let’s not forget about her artistic side. Jaiya is a trained opera singer who studied theatre arts.
Gaining power from Tantric Arts after childhood sexual abuse
Childhood sexual abuse is frequently seen as a legacy that victims carry through life. Jaiya was a victim of childhood abuse and trauma, but she redirected this to a life of upliftment.
She says she felt like she had lost control of her sexuality as a result of the abuse. So, to regain the power, she wanted to learn how she could feel like she was the master of her sexuality and body. This led her to study Tantric Arts, which is an Asian based practice about exploring sexual energy to connect better with mind and body, leading to more pleasure.
While studying Tantric Arts, she became a master level instructor and course leader. She found it beneficial and says it helped her master the use of pleasure and sexuality to create transcendent states of consciousness.
This opened her appetite to learn more, and so she began learning more about sexual health. She later entered the world of Sexological Bodywork which is a healing profession in the state of California. When she did her graduate studies, she did clinical research to test the validity of the Erotic Blueprints Framework, a tool designed to help people understand more about intimate pleasure and achieve more incredible passion and satisfaction.

Jaiya hopes to spread a new light or new way of thinking for many people who feel bored and unfulfilled. She enjoys looking into ways people can attain heightened states of consciousness and creating the tools to allow them to have access to knowledge on achieving optimal sexual health.
