Tesher’s Punjabi background and original single “Jalebi Baby” merged ever so well with Jason Derulo’s sound. The catchy remix was born. With the help of TikTok, it went viral. While the song became familiar to all, a majority did not know what or who “Jalebi” is. We have the answer: a dessert. Now the song makes sense.
