Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, former Vice Chairman and CEO of Zensar Technologies, has recently joined the board of advisors of Alphalogic Techsys Limited, a Pune-based bespoke software consulting firm.
An alumnus of BIT Mesra, NITIE, IIT Bombay and the Harvard Business School, Dr. Natarajan is an industry veteran from Pune. He has to his credit two corporate success stories, APTECH from 1991 to 2001, and Zensar Technologies from 2001 to 2016. APTECH was a global training major, which Dr. Natarajan led in India, China and thirty other countries. At Zensar, Dr. Natarajan was the Vice Chairman and CEO. During the last five years of his tenure, the company’s market value grew at over 40 percent on a year on year basis, a success story that has become subject of two case studies at the Harvard Business School.
Dr. Natarajan chairs several institutions enriching the startup ecosystem, including Skills Alpha, Pune City Connect, and Social Venture Partners India. He has also recently co-founded two Indo-US Joint Ventures, Kalzoom Advisors and Center for AI and Advanced Analytics.
His joining Alphalogic Techsys Limited Board of Advisors comes at a stage where the ten-year old company has announced an Initial Public Offering (IPO). Alphalogic is among the first startups to get listed in the BSE Startup Platform. The company witnessed a growth of 120 percent last year and intends to grow at a greater pace in the times to come, including the goal to triple its employees by the year 2020.
Alphalogic was started by Anshu Goel in 2008, and has had a bootstrapped and profitable journey from the start. At a time when the global economy was hit by recession, Anshu, then 24, had the vision to become a job creator and an entrepreneur. Anshu has since then, never looked back. Today, Alphalogic’s clients range from early stage startups to established SMB’s and Fortune 500 companies from over 12 countries, including India, Australia, USA, and UK.
Anshu reminisces about the company’s initial days when it was just a two employee company. “I just wanted to solve problems for people using software and digital tools. We never thought we’d come so far. But thanks to our clients, investors, and team, that we are announcing our IPO,” Anshu says.
The major services provided by Alphalogic includes product re-engineering, web and mobile application development, data analytics and business intelligence, and UI/UX consulting. With its development center in Pune, Alphalogic serves a global clientele.
